Well, let me tell you a story. Once upon a time Zach collaborated on a pedal design with Novo Guitars. That pedal was the Air Lane Drive and it was awesome. After Mythos moved out of Air Lane Drive Dennis asked if they could retain the name in case they wanted to do another design, but we still had a bunch of PCBs so we decided to rename it and get it into the hands of more people. This circuit is too good to let it gather dust, so the 210 Double Drive Deluxe was born.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eInternally this is the same PCB as the Air Lane Drive, two slight variations of the same drive circuit built with high quality through hole components. The MORE and EVEN MORE knobs control the gain of each circuit and depending on how you set them you can have a slight boost to sweet overdrive crunch to pretty gnarly fuzz tones. Internally there are volumes for each side but it’s truly a set and forget knob, so set it to taste if stock isn’t your bag and rock out. This pedal pays homage to the Japanese echo pedals that I adore but isn’t a direct clone of anything. Designed by John Snyder of \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.electronicaudioexperiments.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eElectronic Audio Experiments\u003c\/a\u003e, the Oracle is built around two reissue MN3205 chips. The layout is very straightforward and simple, the knobs are Time, Feedback, and Mix with a Tap Tempo and True Bypass On\/Off Footswitches. The Time knobs allows you to get up to 600ms of delay time, but using the Tap Tempo you can push that time even further. Tapping a longer delay will begin to degrade the signal and repeats. PLEASE NOTE: The longer the delay time gets you begin to introduce noise into the signal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe voicing on the pedal sits kind of in-between classic analog units, it’s dark without being completely muffled and lacking clarity. I worked very hard fine tuning the taper of knobs so that everything feels right under you fingers. The Feedback control goes from single repeats for slap at minimum to self-oscillation territory at 1-2 o’clock. The Mix control took the longest to get right, at 12 o’clock you’re just shy of a 50\/50 split of wet and dry. This switch changes the clipping from classic ram’s head territory to a modified voicing that is derived from the Colorsound Supa Tonebender. The V2 ditches the sliders for knobs and gives players a Silicon Treble booster, and updated Herculean circuit and the same echo as before just with controls on the face. The switching has been refined for less popping and we’ve tried our hardest to spare no expense in creating exactly what R.J. wanted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"preFlex flexIn\"\u003eThe Treble Boost is our take on the classic germanium design just reworked for a more consistent Silicon Transistor. This gives the boost a slightly more aggressive and tighter feel and with it’s 3 way tone switch you can get those bright sounds but also a mid forward and bass heavy sound that when paired with the Overdrive circuit gives you one of the widest array of drive tones in a Mythos Pedal to date. In addition there are two internal trimmers that will allow you to change the gain range and bias of the boost if you want to do so.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"preFlex flexIn\"\u003eThe Overdrive is our Herculean V2 only this time we’ve adjusted it for a more open voice.
